Wrote a few thank you notes.
Found the best new shoes!
And a new Lego set & a snack...
Watched a 5 year old put the set together with tiny bits of help from me. 'You know, mommy, I really think I want to design & fly jets & planes. Legos help me practice'
He knows what he is doing! And he was laughing saying things like, 'I am bossy britches & I am the queen bee of legos'
Then, we had a chuckle over a squirrel fight on our BIRD feeder.
Followed by a lively & love filled dinner @ Fujiyama with both sets of grandparents!!
Luke ate miso soup, noodles & steak!
And we all had a great time together.
I feel lucky & loved. Just put Luke down after telling an embellished version of The Princess & the Pea & getting hugs from 'the best Luke' while he told me that I am the 'bestest mommy'.
Thankful.
