Summer fun

Luke was so happy to have his friend over this morning!!

Not sure this picture illustrates his worn out eyes, but post-playdate, Luke took a nap 2010 style (4 hours!). He woke up & confirmed with me that he took a 'monster nap'! Indeed!

The absolute joy that Luke experiences with sparklers & smoke bombs is light up my world fantastic! So fun, so summery, so great!

Focus

A variety of snapshots showing Luke's focus & excitement as he put this Lightning McQueen lego car together by himself. I held the directions & he did the work! He also came home from science camp today talking about Chihuly. Amazingly amazing! He also told his teachers that he hates to color & that his mommy doesn't let him use permanent markers (convenient for avoiding the art project part of ART/NATURE camp!)




















































He also gave me extra hugs before he checked in to camp with the words, 'your snuggly & the best mommy' and told his dad to pick him up at the latest pick up time so that he can 'have more time at camp.'
